So let's get one thing straight: video game characters are real, live beings just like you and me. Game-players just force them to constantly act out the scenarios, and no characters really get stabbed, blown up, eaten, etc. They just clock out at the end of the day, and jump into action as soon as someone feeds a quarter in their arcade cabinet. It's a system that works perfectly.

Until one day, a Ghost slips Mr. Chompface some arsenic, and it all goes to hell.

Use the ENTER key to begin the game. Use the ARROW KEYS to move through the maze and navigate the in-game menus.

WACF is kind of a tribute to the games of my youth, kind of a joke, kind of a creative action puzzle with multiple endings. It includes:

 - Maze traveling, dot-dropping, Chompface-eating action
 - Full voice acting (by me)
 - An original, official sing-along theme song (also sung by me, to a "Frosty the Snowman" karaoke track)
 - Three different endings, each more challenging than the last

NOTE: for best performance, it's suggested you use a web browser other than Firefox.

Enjoy...!

I love this, the voice acting is fun and the story is amusingly grim. the sound design also feels perfectly discomforting for what a bizarre situation we find ourselves in. it's a bit more crass than I expected, but there's nothing wrong with that, the humour is still well played imo.
I found the Zezmeron ending the easiest to get, even when trying for a different fail state- maybe there's an interaction or two I missed that would have made it easier to manage that meter, I dunno! but regardless, it was funny enough for me to keep retrying even with how unpredictable and frustrating progress can be. also, I'm curious where the name "Zezmeron" comes from?

Glad to hear some of the jokes came through for you. :)

The Zezmeron character is based off the leader of the Ghosts in the cartoon. Never made it into any of the games as far as I can tell, so he’s not really a “canon” character. I think he was created solely for the cartoon series.

PS: Hope the GT community is still going alive and well…! :D

oh wow, I've heard about the cartoons but I didn't realize they had original characters just for it. well, I guess they would have had to come up with new characters considering how limited the source material is for drawing an entire cartoon out of it!

and yes things are going well over at GT, thank you for your positive thoughts :)
